About Downtown Dance

Found in thriving downtown Corvallis, Downtown Dance is a center for dance instruction and exploration. With an emphasis on contemporary dance forms, our class offerings include hip-hop, contemporary modern and jazz, as well as creative dance. With a large range of class styles, levels and age groups, there is something for every body!

There is a wonderful saying from Zimbabwe; "If you can talk, you can sing. If you can walk, you can dance." At Downtown Dance, we believe everybody truly can dance. People just need the right opportunity. We recognize people's diversity, including age, background and reasons for taking dance classes. We strive to offer a positive and encouraging learning environment for all dancers to pursue their interest in dance. We are happy to share the joy of dance with the Corvallis area community.

Our Facility

Downtown Dance is home to an 1160 sq.ft. sprung dance floor, a large dressing room, comfortable waiting area and dance shop. Our dance floor was custom built using a traditional, wood basket weave design to offer a floor with the cushion needed to protect dancers' bodies.

The studio is also available for rent.  Consider our space for your dance event, practices, and workshops.  Contact us for rental information.
